Homestead State School is situated in the Charters Towers Regional Shire, seventy-five kilometres west of Charters Towers on the Flinders Highway. Our school is a small school and services a community of approximately 100 people. The school was established in 1893 and continues to offer a range of learning experiences. Homestead State School is part of the Northern Education Region, Townsville District Office.
